Creative Connections was designed as an engaging space where learning and creativity met to simplify the conversation around mental health. The workshop began by introducing attendees to various rewarding career paths within the mental health field, encouraging students to see the human and scientific impact of these roles. To keep the atmosphere welcoming and fun, participants enjoyed cupcakes while discussing the importance of destigmatizing emotional support.
The highlight of the event was a hands-on activity where participants created personalized paper fortune tellers. Rather than traditional fortunes, these were filled with specific self-care prompts—such as drinking water, taking a mindful walk, or practicing deep breathing—serving as gentle, creative reminders to prioritize their daily well-being.
